Govardhan Puja (Annakut)
October 22 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Govardhana Puja, Go-Puja, and Annakuta are all connected to the divine pastime of Lord Krishna lifting Govardhana Hill to protect the residents of Vrindavan. On this auspicious day, devotees prepare a great variety of offerings, arranging them in the form of a hill made of sweets and other foods. These sweets are joyfully offered to the Deities and then distributed to everyone as sacred prasadam. As part of the celebrations, cows—so dear to Lord Krishna—are also honored with great devotion. Join us for bhajan, kirtan, Annakut darshan, Damodarastakam, and a free vegetarian feast.
